NOTICE OF RACE
HOST: Chester Yacht Club, Chester, Nova Scotia DATES: Wednesday August 4th – Thursday August 5th 2010 RULES: The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), Canadian Prescriptions, the Optimist Class Rules, the Sailing Instructions and this Notice of Race. CLASSES: Optimist Dinghy Fleet Divisions – Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced SCHEDULE: August 4th 2010 0830-1000 Registration 1030 Skippers Meeting 1130 First Race Lunch will be provided on water BBQ following racing August 5th 2010 1130 First Race Lunch will be provided on water Awards to follow AWARDS: 1st 2nd 3rd for each fleet ENTRY FEE: $30.00(cash or cheque) per competitor except at the discretion of the Race Committee. Participants compete entirely at their own risk and responsibility and must carry property and liability insurance covering all risk. The Organizing Authority and any other party involved in the organization of the regatta, accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss or claim whether personal or material, incurred by or inflicted to participants before, during or after the regatta.
