Program Dates for 2010 (all sessions are 2 weeks long)

SESSION 1:                  June 28 - July 09

SESSION 2:                  July 12 - July 23

SESSION 3:                  July 26 - Aug 6

CYC RACE WEEK:          Aug 11 - 14   (no junior sailing instruction)

SESSION 4:                  Aug 16 - Aug 27

SPRING/FALL SAILING (Optimist's & 420's) dates TBA depending on interest. Contact Paul Avery at pjavery@eastlink.ca if interested.

All sessions are Mon-Fri 9am - 4pm, including public holidays, except Wet Feet - Optimist Program 9am-noon and 1-4pm (if numbers permit).

Program Fees

All Participants:

Student with own boat - less $30/session. Note: private boats can only be stored at the club while the student is enrolled. All boats have to be removed from the club during race week.

Each additional child from the same family - less $10/session

Full Day Programs: Optimist, Mirror, Club 420

ALL SESSIONS: $300 per session

1/2 Day Programs: Wet Feet:

ALL SESSIONS: $160 per session

Racing Team:

Fees dependent on costs and number of participants. Only if demand is sufficient. Contact Paul Avery at pjavery@eastlink.ca if interested.

Spring/Fall Sailing:

Fees will depend on number of participants. Contact Paul Avery at pjavery@eastlink.ca if interested.

P.R.O. KIDS

P.R.O. KIDS Is a service dedicated to ensuring recreation opportunities exist for children and youth who would not ordinarily be able to afford the cost of participation. The Program is administered by the Chester Municipal Recreation Department. If interested please contact the Registrar: Lisa LaFrance cycjnrsailing@hotmail.com

CYC Membership Fees (payable once per year per child)

All participants are required to pay Membership fees. Children and grandchildren of Senior w/Children and Senior Family members of the Chester Yacht Club are exempt from paying these fees.

Membership fees for 2010:

15 years old & under: $50

16 to 18 years old: $80

Charter Fees:

The option of chartering boats for use outside of the program (for example, for regattas) is at the discretion of the Learn to Sail Director. A fee of $35.00 will be charged for the use of club boats outside of regular programming.

Sailors and their parents will need to sign a charter agreement when chartering a club boat.
